About

In 1995, I moved from Boston to Los Angeles to become a writer and editor for the Candle Computer Report. The “CCR” had been published by Candle Corporation for almost 20 years by then, and was widely read by data center managers, systems engineers and almost everyone else in the industry. During my tenure as editor, we launched CCR2, the online version, and also “blue-washed” the newsletter when the company was acquired by IBM.

At IBM, I added two other publications to my editorial duties:  Tivoli Beat and Service Management in Action.  I was involved in the publishing process from start to finish:  maintaining editorial calendars; working with writers, subject matter experts and graphic designers; editing and proofing all content prior to publication; posting via CMS and tracking results.

From this position, I went on to work as a freelancer, where I broadened my experience as an editor and writer by covering business, industry, technology, healthcare, consumer and DEI issues.  Then in 2016, I was excited to take on my most recent role with the legendary Hollywood company Technicolor, where I indulged my passion for the entertainment industry by covering our work on feature films, episodic television, advertising and games.

Overall, my work as a content/copy editor and copywriter spans:

  • Corporate Newsletters
  • Feature Articles and Blogs
  • Marketing Communications
  • Web Site Content
  • Press Releases and Media Pitches
  • Interactive Virtual Training Scripts
  • Industry White Paper and eBooks
  • Brochures, Data Sheets and Case Studies
